If I initially create a calendar invite for my coworkers with a specific description, and they accept it, then later on I invite a client to the same invite but modify the description, will my coworkers still be able to view the original description? Despite my efforts to change it for the client\’s invite, I can still see the original description when I scroll up.
Hi dear, thanks for reaching out.
In Microsoft Outlook, when you update the description of a calendar invite and send it to new attendees, the new attendees will only see the updated description. They will not be able to see the original description that was sent to the initial attendees.
However, the initial attendees who received the original invite will be able to see the original description as well as the updated one. This is because Outlook keeps a history of the changes made to the invite for those who were already included before the changes were made.
